The Background of The Founder: Thomas Coates
When I was 21 I was unable to read for almost SIX months because of a concussion.
Since then Ive dedicated myself to studying about the brain and specifically concussions.
I’ve had many concussions throughout my life and never thought much about them. It wasn’t until I literally could not do basic functions like reading that I realized that I have to take care of my brain.
Now that I take the time to take care of my brain, my brain is stronger than it has been ever before. I still have some lingering effects from concussions. Those issues remind me everyday to keep taking care of my brain, and help others understand the importance of taking care of the human brain. This is why I started CosmicBrain.
Here at CosmicBrain we help athletes train their brains with fun, easy, and competitive games that targets specific parts of the brain. This in turn makes them better while playing sports: such as, better reaction time, critical thinking, attention, and more. This simultaneously helps the brain become more resilient to potential head injury and helps with recovery.

"Subconcussive head trauma often occurs in the setting of contact sports, particularly American football. Helmet accelerometer studies. have shown that high school football players can average 600 subconcussive impacts per season, and this can increase to over 1,000 at the collegiate level"
